Robbie Ross

  • Likes Dairy Milk, Cosy studio shoots
  • Dislikes The letter ‘F’, Hollyoaks

Robbie, formerly of RossVideoLtd has been in the game for over 20 years, working on everything from Promos to Features. IN 2010, he recruited and trained up Spindle and since then, have combined forces to form RSVP.

Andrew Spindle

  • Likes Martinis, Next day delivery
  • Dislikes Traffic, Tofu

Spindle, who did his first day on set before his voice had even broken, started out as a Runner in 2005. During his third year as a freelance AD, Robbie asked Spindle to assist him on a shoot, where Spindles love for playback was soon discovered. After a few years of video bliss passed, they took on a new recruit and the RSVP adventure began…

Nick Barber

  • Likes Brylcreem, Carhartt
  • Dislikes Parsley, Windy weather

After retiring from male modelling at the age of 4, Nick chose a life of solitude and reflection before entering the Film Industry as a Freelance Runner. It was only a matter of time before his skills were noticed and was given the opportunity to pursue a career in Video, working as part of RSVP.

Jack Driver

  • Likes Dogs, Tight Cycling Attire
  • Dislikes Raisins, Mange Tout

Jack, who is better known for his incredibly tight cycling outfits, not only owns the cycle lanes, but also the floors of the commercial film world. After establishing himself as one of the busiest runners around, he’s ridden head first into the Video world and proudly become an Operator at RSVP.

Nick Forrester

  • Likes Fishing, Cats
  • Dislikes Spaghetti hoops, Awkward Silences

Meet Nicolas… A man so rebellious, that at the tender age of 7, successfully applied to the Government to have the ‘H’ removed from his first name. With a new name and a love for fishing, Nick knew that sitting idle and waiting patiently was not only something he wanted to do as a hobby, but also as a career. 5 years of AD’ing later, RSVP welcomed Nick with open arms… (For video work, along with weekend fishing trips).

Charlie Gibson

  • Likes Craft Beer, Romantic Comedies
  • Dislikes Loose threading, Cinnamon

In 2013, while Maroon 5’s “Payphone”was on top of the music charts, Charlie Gibson was topping the running charts. With a record time of just 14 seconds from Black Island Stage 2, to the canteen, he was not only the quickest on set but also the hungriest… But not just for food, for Video too. 8 years later, he’s eaten his way to CCTV paradise and joins us in our quest to Video stardom.

Liam Coles

  • Likes Black Coffee, Countryside Lanes
  • Dislikes Oat Milk, Conversations about dreams

10 years ago, Liam was better known for his role as head Chef in his home county of Gloucestershire. After cooking up a storm there for 5 years, Liam’s appetite grew stronger and after hearing about Black Island Studio’s legendary breakfast buffet, he left the hospitality industry and joined the on set life as an Assistant Director. 5 years and 200,000 cups of tea later, Liam joined the RSVP team and although he hasn’t quite earned his Michelin star yet, we would happily recommend him to a friend.

Tash Farrar

  • Likes Dirt bikes, Puns
  • Dislikes Rooms with no windows, lemon peel

Since 2011, Tash has been revving around not only dirt tracks, but the sets of London too and quickly became one of London’s finest film crew. After 4 years of 2nd AD’ing, Tash has pumped the brakes, changed gear and gone full throttle into Video Playback. We’re pumped to have her onboard!

Dayo Olufemi

  • Likes Tarantino, Bird Houses
  • Dislikes Brie, Ninja Shoes

What can we tell you about Dayo, that can’t be found in numerous issues of Men’s Health magazine. After taking his first steps on set in 2008, Dayo came up the ranks, working in BTS Photography and AD’ing. During lockdown, a spark for video playback was ignited and like most love stories, he is living happily ever after with the team.
